Poppy wreath

Today we are writing on the poppies for the poppy wreath.Everyone wrote on a poppy to the soldiers that are in the war, tomorrow is Remembrance Day so this is why we are writing on a poppy.

To all the soldiers, thankyou very much for being so,so brave to all of us!And also thankyou for fighting to save all of our lives.We will always remember all of you all.And I will never forget about all of you.Be very carefull.Lots of love from lily xxxxxxx

 

My picture of Tutankhamun’s.

A few days ago I drawed a picture of Tutankhamun’s, I found a picture of Tutankhamun’s of the internet, and I copyed the picture, I did all the picture on my own, I thought it was really hard, I thought that I wasn’t going to be able to do this picture but I did it in the end, It took me about half an hour to do this drawing.

Egyptian gods

This afternoon Mr Brown’s class have been researching Egyptian Gods. Olivia drew a wonderful picture of Amun. Comment below to tell us which God you found out about and an interesting fact.

Harvest Festival


Thank you to everyone who donated to or attended the Harvest Festival today. Year 3/4 had their service this morning. A huge well done to all the readers; you can watch a recording of one of the poems Mr Brown’s class read below!

When my Mum was at school she went on a school trip to Egypt and when she was at Egypt, she took some photows of the pyramids.  She went to the shops and she bort a necles and it had the Queen of Egyt on the necles and the Queen of Egypt was called Nefertiti.

What i Brout from the Birmingham Museum.

When I went to the Birmingham Museum I brout a card of hieroglyphics. Now I know what all the letters are in hieroglyphics, and I wish that I could go to the Birmingham Museum again.

Egyptian book 3

Making pyramids

There were five faces and eight edges and five corners.

It was quite hard sticking them because they wouldnt glue.

They were really fun making but it was a bit hard as well.

We made pyramids because we are studeing Ancient Egypt.

The shapes we used were trangles and squares.
