My Manchester United tour.

On 8th of June I hat to wake up at nine a clock in the morning to go to a Manchester united tour with my cousin Jess and Holly and their mom and dad and my mom and dad.

On the way me and Jess went in the boot, we were listening to my ipod music.We stopped at the petrol station to get some petrol,my mom got me some star bursts from the little shop.

On the way my iPod went flat, but we listened to the radio, me and Jess were singing and I was really loud. After we were counting how many stobart trucks we could see, my dad got the most he got 4 I got 1.

When we arrived we were given a lanyard which had are tour tickets in them. We had to get to the museum by going up the escalator, it was fun because we didn’t have to walk up the stairs. Me and Jess where so excited, we were the first ones to get there.

we looked round the museum at trophies and memorabilia of players past and present, my mum took lots of photos of me. I liked seeing Rooney’s leg cast and David Beckems GOLDEN, CLEAN BOOTS!

The tour. First we went to go through the door and we sat down and the tour guide told us about the pitch. After we went to the changing room, me and Jess ran to Rooney’s top, I got a picture with his top.

After we went to the tunnel where the players go through onto the pitch. I got chosen to be a leader to go on when we got on the pitch. I got a piece of grass off the pitch,the man told me off.

After we went to the shop, I brought a hat,football,jumper and a picture,and collected my certificate that said I had been on the tour. I couldn’t wait to get back to school to show my friends all my things.

The last thing we did was going to the cafe to have something to eat, I had pizza and chips, it was nice and i sat on Rooney’s number 10 chair.

I enjoyed the day and think we should go on a school trip there.

Superb sports day!!!

On the 25th of June 2012 all of Moorfield school were included in sports day on the field. We do sports day to keep fit and have fun!

Before, we practised sports day we got the chairs out ready for sports day and practised our races. And a little dance called a flash mob dance.

First we, did the flash mob then, the torch re lay next, key stage 1 did there sports day first after that, we had break time.

Next it was key stage 2s turn for sports day but they did half of it then., you could sit on the grass and have lunch with your friends and family then key stage 2 finished of theres.

I enjoyed watching the dressing up race and eating cakes!

Sport’s day:)

On the  Moorfield Field on the 25th of June with the Moorfield students and teachers to keep fit and healthy because we wouldn’t of known what to do, we had sports day!!!

Before we did sports day we had to get all the chairs in the school, we had to get all the cakes in the school, we had to do the flashmob AND the opening ceremony!

The flashmob was about where we did some actions the sports were front crawl, diving, breaststroke, running, football, and boxing ding dig ding!!We did it 2 times the 2nd one was where we had to move into the olympic rings.

ks1 went first and they did brilliant they were really good.Next it was our turn!Ihad to do 7 races, some people were really funny in the dress up race they couldn’t get their clothes on:b

the most funny part was seeing all the people trying to get their clothes on especially Alfie H getting his clothes on

emerald were good but they came last. alfie who was doing the realay was VERY  fast.tired, exhausted, drenched Alfie crossed the finish line

The Olympic Torch

On the 30th May the olympic torch came past our school! Moorfield did a cycling race in town, they came 3rd. The girl who was carrying the torch was called Rachel she is a swimmer. All POLICE was coming! There was 4 lorries.

key stage 2 sports day

Yesterday we had sports day. It was really fun because every partisapated . I was in the sack race ,relay,shuttle i really enjoyed it. addlitonton came first ,twedle came second,redgrave came third,Daley came last.it was a great day for all of us.

Surprising Sports day

Sports Day was held in Moorfield in, Shropshire, Newport. This happened on the 25/6/2012.

We also had the cake store, but, we had to do the Flashmob. Just because we had to practice, practice, practice. But practice makes perfect.

When we arrived at the playfield, parents started arriving with teachers asking patiently wether the parents & carers if they could sit down .

After that, ks1 started their own Sports Day. It was a little bit funny. ks2 was even more funnier!

The funny part was when I, Jerusha, accidently pushed off the police helmet of my head but again & again it kept on falling off but I didn’t like it at all.

There are some sports which come from the olympics like pole vault, hurdles, shot put & tennis.

Sunny sports day

On the 25th of june Moorfield primary school,Newport Shropsire in Welligton Road we had sports day.We had sports day because every year we celebrate peoples talant.There was 280 children who toke part in this sports day. Sport day takes part once a year.

Before we started the races we got into our colour house and to do a flash mob. A flash mob is when you do a little dance.

The races were sack race,bean bag race,three leged race,sprint,hurdles,dressing up and the relay.Key stage 1 went first.

After that we started the races. I was in the bean bag race,dressing up and relay race.I liked it all because when you did a race everyone cheered for you.

What I have learned is that it does not matter if you don’t win,it is just a race.
